Starry Night Elephant
After watching a video about elephant orphanages, I imagined a story about a little elephant that loses its family and learns to count its friends at the orphanage to help manage its anxiety. It then starts to count everything it can find around itself, until one day it decides to try and count the stars.
This painting depicts that final moment when the elephant starts counting the stars and realizing how beautiful the world can be.
